We will use this space as a meeting place for like minded people to gather and communicate freely. There will be four tiers of access for the purposes of building a club structure with different amenities available. For example, a park like environment to hang out for free to things like a hot tub and gym for paying members.

I do plan to have a personal space for myself to sleep, read, paint, and “work”; along with shared spaces for both paying club members and for those not contributing monetarily; paying members can bring a plus one to some amenities (subject to space constrictions, we may need to work through problem solving as needed).

The rooms will include a sun room with the majority of the plants I take care of (I plan to grow this family of plants more and more), a deck that includes a more private seating space (G1 members), a room with free weights and a power rack (expanding as space allows), and the main room will have a circle of yoga/meditation stations. Going outside around the back, we will have plenty of places to sit and relax including hammocks and a large fire pit. There will also be a barbecue and an outdoor pizza oven. On the other side of the outdoor area is a second building containing a game room, bathrooms, and a small indoor space to watch movies (perhaps a long term addition goal, depending on startup funds)… I could also provide job opportunities to a few yoga and meditation instructors to use the space for classes throughout the day. I would love to hire a staff to help maintain the place such as cleaning and landscaping and provide G2 access as a benefit. We can build in phases and evolve the space with time as needed.

I would love to move forward with a fundraising effort once I have the model of the main room completed. My current lease expires on June 30, 2025, so I hope to have a more solid plan by the start of June. It would be my preference to remain living where I am until this dream is fully realized. I plan to focus solely on this project, creative enterprises, and self care. I would like to create a timeline for the construction efforts once we get closer to that point.

Additional details

  • I will have 8 yoga stations, including the one for myself, placed in a circle with a low table in the middle. The low center table is for visiting after the morning session and enjoying a light breakfast and tea.

  • Each All Access Member will receive a meditation pillow that will be stored with care after each days use in a personal lockable cubby below the table.

  • The center table can also be used as a platform for someone skilled in sound bathing to hold an additional form of meditation at a later time in the day (they could sit in the middle).

  • There will be a large ceiling fan and plenty of natural light, we’ll do our best to keep the temperature around 70 degrees, the visuals will be predominantly earth tones, light in hue, with an overall focus on nature.

  • Music like jazz, or HiFi study beats will be playing in the main building at low volumes, alternating with sounds of nature throughout the day.

  • There will likely be a fish tank somewhere within the home.

Scenario…

For example, if I had 44 paying members with the the following breakdown, I would generate $3,150.00 per month which would be more than enough to cover the mortgage and cost to to maintain (on my own or with limited staff):

Group One: up to 14 members @ $100.00 per member per month = $1,400.00

Group Two: up to 10 members @ $75.00 per member per month = $750.00

Group Three: up to 20 @ $50.00 per member per month = $1,000.00

Group Four: Any number showing up free to hang out = A stronger community

There will be two time frames for “Group One” members, a morning meditation at 6:00 AM and another at 8:00 AM. With enough interest, we could have up to 14 G1 members participating in a morning session. Later sessions open up to more members.

Currently, I use Yoga Studio for my yoga practice; I spend most of my time in the beginner flexibility content.

I would like to participate in education surrounding certifications in this area as well.

This album, Music for Psychedelic Therapy, by Jon Hopkins is amazing. I listen to it everyday while doing my meditation. I recommend starting this album when starting my meditation example video, let it play through, and then continue your practice with the music.
